St Joseph's School Association (SJSA) is a registered charity, charity number 286432 — built and run entirely by volunteer parents to support every child at St Joseph's.

Who runs SJSA
Run entirely by volunteers
SJSA is run by a small committee of elected parent volunteers, supported by a much wider team who make each event happen.

Why fundraising matters
The money we raise is essential to the school
Government funding doesn't cover the full cost of running and developing St Joseph's, so SJSA fundraising helps bridge the gap between what the school receives and what it actually needs.
100% of the money raised through SJSA goes directly to the school — last year that was £90,000, including £60,000 raised at the Auction alone.
Part of the St Joseph's family
SJSA supports St Joseph's Catholic Primary School and all 283 of its children. We work alongside the school's leadership team — Dr Ninette Fernandes Viana (Headteacher) and Kevin Bowles (Deputy Headteacher) — but SJSA itself is run independently, by parents, for parents.
Parents and carers automatically become SJSA members the moment their child joins St Joseph's, and are warmly welcome to stay on as Alumni once their children have moved on.
